The Long-Winding Path
Following a long-winding path through a dense forest, I found myself lost in the rhythmic sound of my footsteps on the leaf-strewn trail. The path’s endless twists were a testament to perseverance and patience.
As I walked, an elderly woman with a kind face emerged from the trees, her steps light and purposeful. She smiled as she matched her pace with mine. “The path of life is long and winding,” she said, her voice filled with quiet strength. “It requires patience and perseverance to navigate.”
She gestured to the path ahead, disappearing into the distance. “Trust in the journey, even when you cannot see the destination,” she advised. “The heart-mind (your inner self) grows stronger with each step, learning to trust in its own resilience.”
Her words were a source of encouragement, and the winding path became a symbol of my own journey towards inner strength and trust. Together, we walked in harmony, embracing the uncertainty of the road ahead.
